O pasado venres celebrouse, co seu tradicional (e rancio) ritual, o acto oficial de apertura do curso universitario, coa lección inaugural, promesas de maior inversión por parte do Presidente da Xunta, etc. Mañá, 1 de outubro, comezan as clases. E, por primeira vez nos últimos dezaoito anos da miña vida, decatareime de que non teño que empezar o curso. E, tamén por primeira vez nos últimos catro anos, terei que caer na conta de que todo o que leva o apelativo "de estudantes" (piso, cea, festa, desconto e, en definitiva, cousas) xa non me toca.

Así, mañá cando vaia facer os papeleos que me permitan, por unha banda, acreditar que xa podo recibir o papeliño definitivo e pasar a formar parte dunha cadea de produción e, por outra, seguir ligado á Institución -aínda non sei moi ben por que, isto último- terei que facer de tripas corazón ao pasar polos dous centros neurálxicos da miña historia recente. Decatareime de que xa non. Decatareime de que, aínda que no día a día os cambios xa comezasen hai tempo, agora é o momento do salto mortal, do mundo real. Sexa o que sexa, rematou e fíxoo para sempre. Que nos quiten o bailado e, como dixo o outro... peor sería non cumprir os anos, non?
